How are these hand crafted?
Everything starts with a mold.  The poly stone raw material is put in the mould in a liquid form.   By turning the mould, all parts of the mould are filled by the liquid poly stone.  After the poly stone has hardened (chemical process), the dogs are taken out of the mould and must dry. This takes about 3-4 days. After that, the dogs are very strong and feel like stone.  The dogs are polished by hand to guarantee perfection in every detail.  The main colors of the dog are paint brushed. This requires a lot of craftmanship, because every dog must be exactly the same.  All statues are hand painted. It takes about 2 hours to paint a medium size dog and 3  hours to paint a large dog. Not everybody can paint a dog. It requires experience and a steady hand.
