Please note that these are not intended for daily continuous use, involving dropping and scraping. Like all canes, the paint or cane head itsself can be chipped. However, the wood and resin materials are more fragile than canes made of brass and more conventional mass produced materials. We do apply a great sealer which is the same used on violins for paint protection, but we still only recommend these for more decorative uses or special occasions when you wish to show off your love for your doggie.

Recommended use is more decorative than functional. Rubber tips are also available upon request. Usually, the sticks are the same color as the dog with the exception of the all-white dogs. They get black sticks. An all-white stick would show every little mark and smudge. In a case where there are bi-colors( Jack Russell, Cavalier, ect. ), we go with the color other than white.
