How are these hand crafted?
Everything starts with a mold. The poly stone raw material is put in the mold in a liquid form. By turning the mold, all parts of the mold are filled by the liquid poly stone. After the poly stone has hardened (chemical process), the dogs are taken out of the mold and must dry. This takes about 3-4 days. After that, the dogs are very strong and feel like stone. The dogs are polished by hand to guarantee perfection in every detail. The main colors of the dog are paint brushed. This requires a lot of craftmanship, because every dog must be exactly the same. All statues are hand painted. It takes many hours to paint a large dog. Not everybody can paint a dog. It requires experience and a steady hand.
