Note: Due to popular request, we can now custom paint any of these statues to match your own dog from a photograph. Cost for custom painting is $35 each and requires an additional 1-2 weeks,...but, what a way to imortalize your dog and to make this an extra special creation to be treasured for a lifetime!
How are these hand crafted?
Everything starts with a mold. The poly stone raw material is put in the mold in a liquid form. By turning the mold, all parts of the mold are filled by the liquid poly stone. After the poly stone has hardened (chemical process), the dogs are taken out of the mold and must dry. This takes about 3-4 days. After that, the dogs are very strong and feel like stone. The dogs are polished by hand to guarantee perfection in every detail. The main colors of the dog are paint brushed. This requires a lot of craftmanship, because every dog must be exactly the same. All statues are hand painted. It takes many hours to paint a large dog. Not everybody can paint a dog. It requires experience and a steady hand.
Colors and markings may vary only slightly as handpainted creations always do.

Each of these GORGEOUS statues is hand painted and made from very strong poly stone product. That is a polyester product so it can be used indoor and outdoor. Our statues are also great in the garden or on the porch and will be a perfect gift to a friend. All items are very easy to clean with water and a soft detergent. Our statues are an investment for life and the color will not fade or change.
